When we chatted with directors Nathan Greno and Byron Howard on a broadside route for Tangled, early in 2011, they told me only a few sum of their in-development follow-up.

Greno said:

I will tell we it’s a large movement movie. It relates to Tangled in that will have a ton of movement yet it will have that ton of heart. It will feel like a Disney film nonetheless feel unequivocally opposite to Tangled. It will be unequivocally funny.

While Howard explained:

John looked during [our] 6 ideas [for movies] and there were two, actually, that he suspicion were good and he pronounced “Why don’t we mix those two?” and that’s a talent of Lasseter is he can always see things like that. And we suspicion “Wow, that would be a unequivocally wild, opposite judgment of a film, so totally uncanny and different”.

Greno and Howard had creatively pitched this film while Tangled while still in production, that is not a standard Disney way, yet we can’t contend we censure them – it’s good to keep busy.

And we assume that it’s this same plan that has now cast Jason Bateman, yet one fact of The Hollywood Reporter‘s story seems to advise a probable small change: there’s no discuss of Nathan Greno.

Jason Bateman is in talks to voice-star in a new Walt Disney Animation underline plan that will be destined by Tangled helmer Byron Howard.

Most Disney charcterised films have some-more than one director, during slightest by a time they’re complete. It’s probable that Greno was left out of a news by some kind of accident.

And it’s also probable that Greno isn’t concerned any longer. But I’d be unequivocally astounded if it’s not a same concept. We have Frozen this year, Big Hero 6 subsequent year, and afterwards Finding Dory will take a late 2015 slot.

I’d have to make another shot in a dim as to when Ron Clements and John Musker’s hush-hush subsequent underline will appear, yet it’s flattering balmy in nature, we understand, so a summer container somewhere wouldn’t be out of a question.
