(WBIR-Knoxville) Make-A-Wish Foundation whisked a internal teen battling heart issues to a many enchanting place on earth.

Garrett, 14, has had several surgeries in a past on his heart. His one wish was to transport to Orlando and revisit Disney World, Universal and all a other thesis parks. On Saturday, he took off from McGhee Tyson Airport to Florida.

His mother, Connie Metcalf, pronounced she’s beholden that Make-A-Wish provides families a getaway from a sanatorium and health problems.

“I consider everybody should support Make-A-Wish,” pronounced Metcalf. “If they have a ill child, or a ill neighbor or family or a crony with a health issue. It’s great. It’s a good thing. It unequivocally is.”

Since it started in 1980, a Make-A-Wish Foundation has postulated some-more than 200,000 wishes and some-more than 14,000 in 2011 alone.
