Electronic Arts (EA) and The Walt Disney Company have announced a multi-year video diversion agreement for a Star Wars franchise. The understanding will concede EA to rise and tell new Star Wars titles opposite mixed interactive platforms. No financial terms of a understanding were disclosed.

Disney Interactive’s Co-President John Pleasants pronounced in a statement: “This agreement demonstrates a joining to formulating peculiarity diversion practice that expostulate a recognition of the Star Wars franchise for years to come. Collaborating with one of a world’s premier diversion developers will concede us to move an extraordinary portfolio of new Star Wars titles to a fans around a world.”

Under a terms of a agreement, EA has a rights to rise and tell Star Wars games, though Disney will keep a rights to also rise new titles within a mobile, social, tablet, and online diversion categories.

EA Labels President Frank Gibeau says that 3 of a studios, BioWare, DICE, and Gibeau, will be operative on producing a new games.

This is a one of a initial diversion chartering deals that Disney has done following a purchase of a Star Wars franchise from Lucas Arts studio behind in Oct 2012. Months later, a media hulk wound adult shuttering a studio. Last month, Disney pronounced that it will concentration on chartering a diversion properties instead.
