Disney Interative executive writer John Vignocchi has oral out to downplay a similarities between Disney Infinity and Activision’s Skylanders series. Speaking with Polygon, Vignocchi certified some similarities do exist, though claimed that overall, Infinity is a singular game.

“There are similarities, in that we have figures, though a similarities stop there,” Vignocchi said. “Infinity is dictated to be a height for all things Disney. The playsets inside of Infinity are new and strange stories. They are open-world games.”
